THE EXPERIENCE

Through engagement in live webinars and online learning management system, scholars will receive training in the following key areas to prepare for internship opportunities and early career opportunities

• Exploring the True Colors Personality Lens 
• Exploring Transferable Skills: Emotional Intelligence 
• Cultivation of Professional Skills: Networking 101- Building and Strengthening 
• Managing up: Opening Communication 

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 2.7 cumulative; 3.0 in major
• Enrolled in an HBCU
• Classified as College Junior or College Senior for the 2024- 2025 academic year
• All majors are welcome to apply. Applicants with the following majors will receive preference; Business, Communications, Cyber Security, Finance, Accounting, Information Management Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology, Insurance, Marketing, Operations Management, Risk Management, Software Engineering and Computer Science.

Selected Lincoln Financial Scholars must attend and complete 100% of professional development series provided during the Fall 2024 semester to be eligible for continued support (to include up to $3,000.00 scholarship for the spring 2025 semester).
