Mostly Great staff. Have a great graduation/continuing education rate thanks to programs put in place IN the school curriculum. Lots of different choices for kids to choose from as far as elective classes go. Lots of extracurricular activities available to kids. Especially impressed with how High School deals with bullying vs how the Middle School handled it (Extremely POORLY). WAY BETTER High School experience vs Middle or Elementary School experiences.

I was among the first "full year" graduating class of Fulton Elementary in 1964. The school opened in 1962 as a split off of Freese Elementary. Boone Elementary was an earlier spin-off a year earlier. It was great to be the first kids in the new school. It was during that first full year that President Kennedy was assassinated. I can still remember vividly coming back from morning recess and Mr. Dybes (6th grade) and Mr. Huber (5th grade) were talking in a whispered tone. Once we got back into the classroom, Mr Dybes told us the horrific news. Everyone was in shock. We were able to watch a news report on TV briefly before getting back to the regular class schedule...it was the the worst of times for our Nation yet for a kid 12 years old, the best of times at Fulton. We had a music teacher who would come and teach instruments (I learned the clarinet). We had Lyle Bond from Channel 10 Sports come and talk to all the 4-6th grade boys, Lots of great memories at Robert Fulton Elementary!!

I cannot speak highly enough of this school. We came to Montessori Academy after years of homeschooling and it was the perfect transition into a warm, encouraging, and positive environment. I appreciate the child-led learning environment, the opportunities to interact with all age levels, the time they spend outdoors, and the very little homework given (their work is completed during the school day so evenings are for family and fun!). All 3 of my children have thrived in this environment and I'm confident they will enter high school with ease.
