Gates Scholarship

Grant America Dream Grant
Students presently enrolled in higher education programs are eligible (two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school)
The prize money ranges from $5,000 to $15,000 for the winners. On the basis of full-time enrollment, satisfactory academic achievement, and the availability of funds, awards are renewable for up to three further years or until a first bachelor's degree is completed, whichever comes first. The prize will grow by $1,000 for each year of qualifying renewal.

Nursery Researchers Grant
Eligibility: Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, or North Carolina high school students who have proved financial need.
Amount: $22,000 over the course of four years

Ron Brown Scholars Program
Eligibility: Students in high school who are Black/African-American who have established financial needs.
Amount: $40,000 for a total of $10,000 every year.
The deadline for submissions is January 9, 2022.
PanHellenic Scholarships
Eligibility: College-bound/college students of Greek ancestry in the United States.
The amount varies.

How to apply for requiring based money related help
You should apply for any other need-based financial aid possibilities in addition to need-based scholarships. Students will have access to federal student loans and work-study, in addition to need-based programs that do not need repayment (such as the Pell Grant).
Students must complete the FAFSA and, in some cases, the CSS Profile in order to apply for need-based financial aid.
Keep in mind that you must apply for financial aid by the CSS Profile and FAFSA deadlines. You will receive a financial aid award letter if you apply for financial help and are admitted to the college. This letter will describe the many types of aid available to you.

It is debatable! Each scholarship will have its own set of income requirements and criteria for who is qualified. Many need-based scholarships specify an income level or range that a qualified student must fall within.

The main difference is that a need-based scholarship considers a student's financial condition and focuses on helping students who are most in need of financial assistance. A merit-based scholarship will help students who have certain talents or "merits" as defined by the award committee.

High-achieving high school juniors who have proved financial need are eligible.
Amount: The Program's expenditures are covered in full, including transportation, housing, meals, and all Aspen Ideas Festival passes. There are also $1,000 seed grant opportunities to design and implement concepts.
Opens in the fall of 2022.
Dell Scholars Program
High school juniors and seniors who are enrolled in a Michael and Susan Dell Foundation-approved college readiness program are eligible.
Amount: $20,000, plus a laptop, textbooks, and ongoing coaching.
In October 2021, it will reopen.
Horatio Alger National Scholarships
Eligibility: Full-time enrollment as a high school senior in the United States with financial need, with intentions to start college no later than the fall following graduation.
