Dan Trent is a very skilled musician and genuinely a wonderful teacher. He is really patient and makes learning fun for the kids. My son has been going for guitar lessons for about an year now, we are very happy with his progress. I would highly recommend Dan.

I have had the opportunity to take lessons with Dan consecutively for over 2.5 years. I cannot say enough about his teaching style, ability to inspire, and theoretical knowledge of not only the guitar, but also music in general. As someone who is learning guitar a bit later on in life, Dan has always encouraged me to pursue my goals in music, and his dedication to his craft is clearly evident. My son has been going to one on one classes with Mr.Dan for a year now. Mr.Dan is a great teacher and my son loves going to guitar classes. Mr.Dan not only teaches the guitar method book but also makes it fun by teaching him whatever song my son requests, however hard the song may be. He breaks the tabs down into a form that a 7-8 yr old can pick up easily and enjoy. The recital every year is the highlight of my son's year. Thanks Mr.Dan!

Our son takes weekly guitar lessons with Dan Trent. None of us have any background in music instruction, and Dan has been wonderfully patient and a great experience for us. I also appreciate that he is really collaborative and fantastic with communication. Our son loves his lessons, which are stress-free, and it has been a great joy to watch him fall in love with music. So much of individual instruction relies on a personal connection, and Dan’s knowledge and skill coupled with an open and warm personality makes him particularly well-suited for working with new students.
