Barberton City School is a good district. Most of the staff is nice to the child and the education is good as well. I gave it 4 of 5 stars because a few race incidents have come up in the past few years, and I feel the board did not handle it well. For the most part, the staff and guidance counselors rock at doing whats best for the children. Keep up the good work!!!

Barberton schools have improved immensely over the last couple of years. They have a great group of teachers, counselors, and principals who are determined to make a difference. It shows in the way the kids respond to them and show respect. I feel those that respond negatively to Barberton are uneducated about Barberton. If you opened your mind to the possibility that it's a changed place you would be amazed at what you could find.

Ms Evans has single handily changed my child’s life and his out look on learning. Without her passion and drive my son would not be where he is at today. Thank you for all your hard work, it doesn’t go unnoticed.

We transitioned our daughter at age 3 to Sunbrook Academy at Trickum because my husband and I had changed jobs making the previous daycare inconvenient due to location. She has now been there for almost 2 years and I can tell you that we have never had an issue. The teachers and staff are all warm and friendly. They actively communicate with us and provide plenty of opportunities for us to be engaged with her classroom activities. My daughter loves her teachers and is always happily participating in enriching activities when I pick her up. I'm confident she is well-prepared for kindergarten later this year because of Sunbrook at Trickum. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to friends and family.
