STUDENT CRITERIA
Applicants for the Program must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Be a student classified as a sophomore graduating in 2027 or a junior graduating in 2026.
- Enrolled full-time at a UNCF member institution located in North Carolina. This to includes: Bennett College, Johnson C. Smith University, Livingstone College, Saint Augustine's University or Shaw University.
- Pursuing majors in industrial and software engineering, computer science, computer engineering, finance, accounting, economics, supply chain, business administration with a concentration or minor in supply chain logistics, merchandising, business analytics, or business information technologies or a related field.
- Provide a resume and unofficial transcript.
- Attend a webinar for selected students hosted by UNCF and Lowe’s to learn the next steps in the application process.
- Attend a 90-minute Virtual Meet and Greet hosted by Lowe’s for finalists.
- Attend the Lowe’s Campus to Career Program for finalists in Mooresville, North Carolina.
The UNCF Lowe’s Campus to Careers Program aims to create career pathways for HBCU students at Lowe’s Home Improvement through an immersion program.
Selected students will network directly with Lowe’s professionals, executive leaders, and recruitment managers. Through this interactive experience, students will gain a more profound sense of professional opportunities at Lowe’s.
