Apply for 5000 MECC Scholarship Applications Open for 2025-2026 Academic Year

BIG STONE GAP, VA – Mountain Empire Community College (MECC) is pleased to announce that the scholarship application for the 2025-2026 academic year is now open. All students planning to enroll for Summer and Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 are encouraged to apply.

MECC offers a variety of scholarships to assist students in achieving their academic and career goals. Scholarships are available based on academic achievement, financial need, program of study, and other criteria.

Important Information:
✔ No Overall Deadline – The scholarship application will remain open until March 31, 2026.

✔ Certain Scholarships Have Specific Deadlines – Some scholarships, especially those designated for high school seniors. Students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to maximize their opportunities.

✔ One Application, Multiple Opportunities – A single application allows students to be considered for multiple scholarships.
