Trudy Evans Music Studio

My daughter has been taking voice lessons with Trudy since early September. She’s kind and gentle with her, which is spectacular because my daughter, like most kids her age, hates to be corrected. She thinks she’s already perfect. Trudy can take something that can be embarrassing (like singing publicly) and turn it into something fun and light. She has great ways of explaining things and silly ways to make things more fun, like the tongue stretches (hysterical to watch, not so much when you’re the one doing it!). Thank you Trudy for helping my daughter to be able to laugh at herself when needed and take herself seriously when necessary.

My two kids both went to A New Day and we love the school! Irma, Gayle, and the rest of the teachers are loving and care for your kids the way you would. They also prepare them for Kindergarten really well. My kids made the transition with ease and love learning and school. The lower teacher-to-student ration gives extra attention to each child, so they really get to know the teachers. The school is very organized and I always got really fun art projects coming home. My daughter is in 5th grade and still talks about Mrs. Irma. She wants to work at A New Day for her first after-school job and is trying to figure out how to make it work.

Absolutely love A New Day! Ms. Irma and her staff have the biggest hearts for the high energy, stubborn, and sensitive kids! They give them healthy boundaries and show lots of love in harder moments. I truly know they care about my son. Ms. Gayle is my son’s current teacher and he loves her. She is so patient with him and teaches him SO much. They love to focus on Kinder readiness, making that transition so much smoother. The facility is always CLEAN and my son has rarely been sick. The staff truly have our kids health, happiness and safety in mind!! I would highly recommend A New Day CDC!

We had a wonderful experience at A New Day. Our only regret was that we didn't go there sooner. Irma was amazing and so was her staff. It's a warm, loving and homey environment and every day after drop off I had a great feeling walking to my car. Ms. Gayle and Ms. Abby were great teachers (they all were) who really cared and worked hard to get our kids ready for kindergarten. There were always fun activities planned and the kids really loved it. I never had a doubt leaving my kids in their care. After only a few short months, my kids were ready for kindergarten! Highly recommend!

I feel lucky that I found A New Day. Irma and her staff are genuinely loving and have provided a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for my son for almost a year. I enrolled my son when he was 20 months, and almost immediately his vocabulary expanded. The school is small, allowing my child to have a lot of attention and really get to know his classmates. One of the reasons I love A New Day so much is that Ms. Irma's protocols and professionalism always have the best interest of your child. I would recommend A New Day to any parent with the utmost confidence. Leaving your child in someone else's care is a big deal. The sincerity and genuine love the teachers have for their students will make you feel at ease to know they are in a great place.
