I have worked at this school now for three years and the stories about teachers being mistreated is completely untrue. I love working here and have been treated better than any of the two isds I've worked for. Additionally, my kiddos are top priority. They are safe (sadly that isn't always the case in the schools I have worked in), we are given what we need to help our kids be successful, and we building relationships with families are important. I have parents volunteering on a regular basis, if I or my kids need something all I need to do is ask, and if I am ever concerned, the superintendent is available and willing to listen...and take action if necessary. I never felt like that in DISD.

I am a teacher at the Trinity Basin campus on Jefferson and after working at two other DISD middle schools for the last ten years, I can honestly say that I love my job . I do not ever plan on returning to an ISD school. Are we a strict school? Yes, we have rules that we enforce each and every day but parents and students know the expectations and most are grateful for the structure and consistency we provide. There are some who don't agree and would rather conform to the sub--par standards of so many other public middle schools who spend the majority of their instructional days dealing with issues that we don't. We teach.

We have had all three of our children at The Growing Years over the past 11 years. We have absolutely loved this school - every aspect - the teachers, the curriculum, the atmosphere. Our two kids that are now in elementary school were beyond prepared for Kindergarten both academically and socially. And our third child is four and he could go to Kindergarten tomorrow without hesitation. The school is creative in the classroom at every age and provides a wonderful learning and nuturing environment. Most importantly, my kids looked forward to going to "school" everyday. I would recommend this school to everyone.

Guyer High School is an outstanding school. Teachers and Admin help their students and everyone has terrific school spirit. I was pleased when I transferred to this High School and Graduated from it last year. Best school in Denton Hands down.

The moment I got to know about Maestro Goslin’s concert, I was all set to attend it and treat myself with a magical experience. I grew up listening to his radio and television appearances and seeing him in person was a lifetime opportunity. His fingers play piano in such a magical way. Looking forward to listen to him again.
