My brothers go to this school and they love it. There is Ala Carte just like mse but it has more options. One of my brothers comes home with Ala Carte everyday. The school also allows them to work out or hang out after school hours. And the teachers there are so nice! The school also allows choirs from mse to sing there for concerts because they have no stage. 5 stars definitely!!

Great school. Good memories... Very little to no bullying or crime issues (although there have been some incidents of drugs being sold on campus, I never came across it though). Unfortunately, there have been a few teen suicides and attempted suicides. No school shooting incidents (thank god), knock on wood. Great classes too. What's odd is that 16 hours of doing volunteer work in the community or otherwise is required to graduate. And also, Geometry isn't required for you to graduate as well, since in this school district geometry is an advanced class in 8th grade (which is stupid because the ACTs have quite a few geometry questions that require the knowledge learned in at least a 1-2 trimester geometry class) And yes, the school district operates on trimesters instead of semesters. Otherwise, great school. I hope it continues to be a source of pride for STMA.

If you are looking for a strong, knowledgeable, exciting, passionate, and honest staff, then Shining Stars Montessori is where your child needs to go. Throughout the pandemic they have gone above and beyond for the safety of all the kids in the school. No issues or concerns since COVID impacted us all. We trust Ms.Vino and her staff with our eyes closed and know our kids are in the best care. The facility is always clean, organized, equipped with supplies, and activities for both education and fun. The growth and development our kids have made in the last 2 years compared to other institutions we hear about is not comparable at all. We strive to provide our kids with the best while teaching them life skills along the way and Shining Stars represents that in every way. We are beyond blessed and fortune to have found such a great foundation for our kids. THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE?
