St. Francis of Asissi is a wonderful school! My sons have attended since kindergarten. I love this school because the teachers and principal are great, the teachers really care about students. There is a wonderful parent community as well.

Our son started kindergarten here this year. We have been thrilled with his experience. His teachers are so loving and supportive, while also setting very clear expectations for behavior and learning. They seem to have a good understanding of child development at this age and help make learning fun and age-appropriate for the students. I appreciate the standards-based grading system and find it really helpful in assessing my child's learning and progress. We could not have asked for a better first experience for our son.

9/29/15 The International Festival of summer is held at this church. It took place a couple of weeks ago and I happened to notice because they had people directing cars to park safely in their large lot, as well as in the nearby neighborhoods (where I live). It was incredibly well-organized and didn't interrupt the traffic on Oak Grove Road more than minimally. My husband and I walked over to check out the festival and ran into 3 separate friends while we were there. Someone must have gotten the word out about this event - I don't know how we didn't hear about it until the day of - but I'm so glad we went. There were a lot of booths/EZ-Ups around their property with food from around the world (mostly central/south American but also Filipino and Mexican food). Everything was delicious! I walked home with a plate in-hand after we filled ourselves and watched some dancing. This was a really great event and the organizers made sure to put some chairs under a shaded temporary canopy (where the live band was playing). It was a really hot day so they even stopped selling the hot coffee and made some iced coffee instead. It was lots of fun and I look forward to attending again next year.

Our family absolutely loves Legacy! The small classrooms and individual attention given to each student really helped my boys. They gained confidence and grew so much academically this year! We are looking forward to school starting again in the fall.
