My daughter went to Preeya's nursery when she turned 1. I was very worried at first but then Preeya paid extra attention to my daughter to ensure smooth transition. She also sent me pictures to let me know how my LO was doing at school. I am very glad that we found this great place for my daughter. The place is cozy and clean, with separate room for kids to nap which is a huge plus in this area. They periodically add new tour and change set ups to make sure kids have fun.

This review is for the Shining Star nursery, which is owned by the same people as the Shining Star preschool. The nursery is on Clinton Ave., a block off San Pablo. (It's a half mile from Planet Fitness at McDonald and San Pablo.) I can't imagine a nursery better than Shining Star. The teachers there are kind and calm. It's *very* clean. (Adults don't wear shoes inside.) We visited some pretty dirty nurseries in the area and we're so glad that we found Shining Star. The hours are 8

Our two boys love Preeya and the teachers there. My kindergartener still visit the preschool and his Teacher Preeya every chance he can. We wouldn't trust our kiddos to anyone else.

I recommend this local pre-school in El Cerrito. At Shining Star Schoolhouse we offer a safe, healthy and nurturing environment for your child to explore, develop and grow through learning and play. They made me feel their school is my child’s home away from home. Their staff and curriculum helps to progress academically, while developing self confidence and self-esteem.

My son (3 years old) started at KidsFirst roughly 5 months ago and has excelled in learning, vocabulary and social skills. I attribute his success to his teacher Ms. Judy. I've read some of the other reviews and like any school setting the teacher can make or break a child. The receptionists have been nothing but nice and respectful each time I call. Overall, I'm very pleased with the professionalism, quality of care given to my son and especially thankful for his teacher.

The moment I got to know about Maestro Goslin’s concert, I was all set to attend it and treat myself with a magical experience. I grew up listening to his radio and television appearances and seeing him in person was a lifetime opportunity. His fingers play piano in such a magical way. Looking forward to listen to him again.
