My daughter enjoyed her piano lessons. The staff was friendly and helpful. We are planning to come back soon.

Mathew is the best guitar teacher this 70 year old has ever studied under. Lessons are tailored nicely to my skill level. When I started here over a year ago I said I wanted to learn how to read music. Now we're well into that. Amazing staff here helped to make the transition to online lessons smoothly as possible.

SMT offers private lessons on a wide variety of instruments, as well as workshops, group classes and jams. It's an expansion of the lessons program at House of Musical Traditions, which has been around since 1972. They have lessons studios in Rockville and Takoma Park. Teachers are great with all ages and can help with a wide variety of styles. They keep it fun and interesting. David, the director, will help find the best teacher, time and location to match your schedule and interests. A great musical resource for kids and adults, whether you want to learn classical piano, ukulele, guitar, fiddle and much more!

Always top notch sports and art programs... hire quality teachers and administrators, and have maintained excellent family values over the years. Would love to see school re-emerge as a powerhouse in sports again, but the population just isn't there. Young talented coaches could turn that around, instead of sticking with old guard from 1970's and 80's.

My brother and I have both been taking lessons from Chad for about 15 years. Anybody who takes lessons from him will tell you that he is so much more than a guitar teacher. He is a mentor, a friend, he is just an all around awesome person. Musically, he is the most knowledgeable person that I have ever met. With music degrees from Texas Tech University, he has a long background studying a wide range of genres and styles. My lessons with him have evolved over the years from originally just learning the basics of how to physically play the guitar- to nowadays we focus on music theory, composition, recording, and performing. DFGS is a state of the art facility with all the tools you will need to learn how to become a competent musician. I always get so much out of my lessons with Chad and look forward to many more years learning from him!
