Ramona High School

I'm not sure why the average is only 3 stars. We moved up here from Lakeside. We had 6 kids go through El Capitan. Now we have 2 at Ramona High School. It's nice to be in a school where respect of others is the expectation; doing well academically is the expectation. I am grateful and impressed with all the assistive learning options there are here compared to where we came from. We have one child who struggles and has received added support in subjects. We are happy to be here!

My daughter not only improves her English but also her Math in Steps Academy. Although she was born here, she grows up Chinese environment, so she can speak in English very well, but she is bad at writing and reading. Since she came to steps, her English proficiency has multiplied. Which I most like in steps program is their math. My daughter is second grade, but her math knowledge is forth, that is incredible, I am not worried about her studying anymore, so she has plenty of time for her dancing and drawing which she is the most interesting. Now my daughter has strong confidence in her school studying.This is amazing place where I really love. I really appreciate the help of steps' teachers. I strongly recommend you should send your kids to here if you want they are good at their English and Math.

My daughter has been attending Steps Academy for over 3 years. In that time, her grades have improved a lot. Teachers here are a little strict, but are passionate and responsible. I am grateful for what they have done for my daughter, and I truly believe Steps is the best after school in the area.

We met Diane just over a year and a half ago. We were seeking lessons for our five year old who WANTED to play violin. We tried two other people before finding Diane. One of the other locations we tried said that he would take on our daughter, but she would likely quit and should try a different instrument. After meeting Diane, we knew we found the perfect match. Even with the temperament of a five year old and then a six year old, Diane has kept her encouraged and motivated. She clearly cares about each of her students and works wonders reaching the youngest musicians. When classes moved to online, Diane still managed to make our daughter’s ability grow. She has a healthy repertoire of songs and has developed tremendous confidence as she plays in front of crowds at recitals. The investment we are making in our daughter goes beyond just “music lessons”. The impact of her lessons with Diane is evident in her development of patience, commitment, dedication and hard work. We are so happy that we didn’t settle with just the first or the most convenient music teacher. Trials with several teacher led us to the perfect teacher.

We transitioned to Norcott Music Studios over one year ago and our daughter has grown tremendously in her music/piano skills. Our daughter looks forward to lessons each week. There are many ways to advance in music with Norcott Music Studios. Several opportunities are available such as auditions, festivals and recitals. Each one have helped our daughter become more comfortable performing and she has gained confidence in herself. We are so grateful in finding positive, encouraging and supportive instruction by Ms. Diane. She truly gives all heart each week and has a wonderful gift in teaching.
