I love this school! The library is fantastic. So comfortable, with great facility. You can find anything you need for your assignments. The staff is so friendly and very helpful. I study in Digital Design, my professors are incredible, very nice and smart. I recommend you to take professor Martin's because he's fantastic! The environment is great. I enjoy studying at school even hours after my class. The transportation to get there is easy, you can take the bus from mall easily.

I have two children at Seabury, one in 4th grade and one in 1st grade, that have been there since kindergarten. I never thought I would have kids in a private school, but my son struggled at our local school and was bored and miserable. I brought him to spend a day in the classroom and all of a sudden, he loved school again. We have never looked back. It's a small school, and it's a bit of a drive for us (but they are hoping to move closer!), but it's absolutely worth it. We love the field trips, the maker space, the sense of community, the civic involvement with the city itself, the emphasis on hands-on learning that combines subjects, and most of all the amazing teachers that love the kids and really challenge them at their own individual levels.

My son, who is now a sixth-grader, has attended Seabury since kindergarten. At Seabury, my son has found intellectual stimulation in a creative, student-centered, collaborative, and civic-minded setting. He’s finally found kids his own age with whom he can hold real conversations, and he and his peers put their education into action through regular community service projects. Just last year, for example, the fifth grade initiated, organized, and implemented a bake sale that raised over $300 to support hurricane relief efforts in Haiti. Each fifth-grader also interviewed members of a Tacoma-area community organization of their choice, determined an area of need, and developed a fundraising project to assist that community organization. Seabury is an amazing school that educates the whole child – intellectually, socially, emotionally, physically, and developmentally. The teachers help the children develop a sense of themselves as responsible, creative, and critical thinkers at even the youngest ages, and work together to maintain social and community awareness. It’s also reassuring to have the support of other parents who know what it’s like to raise a gifted child. We definitely made the right choice coming to Seabury.

Our experience at Seabury for the last 4 + has been over-all extremely positive. The curriculum is challenging and engaging. The teachers are superb, caring and connected with their students. It was after finding limited resources available for the needs of our son at the local elementary school that we transferred to Seabury. Our only wish is that we had made the move sooner. He will be graduating from the middle school a confident and responsible young man. Our daughter has also benefited in countless ways and is well prepared for middle school next year.

The moment I got to know about Maestro Goslin’s concert, I was all set to attend it and treat myself with a magical experience. I grew up listening to his radio and television appearances and seeing him in person was a lifetime opportunity. His fingers play piano in such a magical way. Looking forward to listen to him again.
