Luna Volleyball Academy

My daughter has played club volleyball at a high level for several years. We happened to hear about Carlos a couple years ago and thought we would try a private lesson. From our initial conversation, I could tell that he was not just another coach trying to make some extra money. His passion for helping young player develop the skills to take them to the next level is obvious. From teaching beginners the basics to getting girls ready for college volleyball, Carlos knows how to bring out their best. He also puts a strong focus on the mental part of the game. For those with teenage daughters, you know how important that can be.

Our daughter went to a clinic in November with Carlos and we were impressed. She has been training with him ever since. Her game has improved greatly! Her high school coach can not wait to see her on the court this fall. Carlos truly love the sport and keeps Payton on her toes. He has really helped her with court awareness and just being able to adjust from passing to defense. He’s also helped her to adjust as a hitter and learned to read the court. We are so grateful for the time he’s spent with her.

We originally found Carlos, because he was a Coach at our volleyball club at the time. As our player was a first timer, Carlos was able to provide great advice and fundamental instruction to my daughter early in her volleyball career. We signed up for several of Carlos' group sessions and ended up receiving a private or semi-private due to some of the other attendees not showing up, which worked out great for her, because of the focused attention to her. Carlos is an Olympic Superstar, who works great with players of any age. We have since moved on from our first club team and he is at the same facility as us now. He is such a great guy and says ho everytime we see him.

Coach Luna was excellent! Towards the end of the first session i could already see improvement in my daughter. My daughter enjoyed working with him very much. He was very knowledgeable and explained each step. His warm up and drills were fantastic. Working on over hand serving and hard hitting. Took 6 week program over the summer and helped this 8 year old go to next level and make the 11U club team. Hoping he offers same program this summer to focus more on setting.

The moment I got to know about Maestro Goslin’s concert, I was all set to attend it and treat myself with a magical experience. I grew up listening to his radio and television appearances and seeing him in person was a lifetime opportunity. His fingers play piano in such a magical way. Looking forward to listen to him again.
