My daughter graduated from here in 2013, I'm so happy for her she came home from a championship with her medal and ring. If you want a good education and for your children to come out feeling strong, I recommend sending them here.

Nicely done Jackrabbits!! But American Fork High school in Utah is gonna finish in the top 20 with a state championship trophy on their shoulder in this coming season (2016-2017) and we will take you guys down in the nationals!!!!!!??? GO CAVEMEN

Mrs. Juarez is a very dedicated teacher, the work she has done with my Son Elijah has been above and beyond her paid duties. I thank you so all you've done.

Home of Scholars and Champions! I graduated in 1996, so maybe things have changed, but I don't think very much. Everybody from Poly is proud of their own individual accomplishments and the many many MANY that the school receives every year. Music, sports, academics, socially... Poly dominates. Without looking up any statistics, I'm gonna go on a limb and say that Poly has produced the most number of successful people than any other high school in Long Beach. Go Poly!!!

This school has challenged my daughter academically but in a positive way. She transferred over from the Ceres Unified School District last year and started her 5th grade year at Capistrano. In the CUSD she always excelled, not only at the top of her class, but usually in the top of her grade throughout the school. Constantly winning awards or certificates for her high scores in Math and reading scores. But once getting to Capistrano she began learning Common Core and she's never saw this type of Math before and neither have I. Although she struggled for a short period of time at Capistrano & would get frustrated & feel like giving up, she eventually learned it and learned it quite well. Who I would thank for her getting it down packed, would have to be her teachers in 5th and 6th grade. The teachers are dedicated and the principal, Mr. Jensen. One thing regarding Mr. Jensen is that he is strict and makes sure the students are held accountable for their misbehaving behavior but at the same time, he's always fair and he cares about each student, individually. I think it's a good school for the most part. I'd recommend the school. Although some people might think that the school is in a "bad neighborhood", it actually isn't. This neighborhood isn't as bad as it seems or is portrayed and even if it was, regardless of that, the school is nice on the exterior and the interior and the teachers and staff are all nicely dressed, proper, professional educators. I appreciate their hard work and dedication they put in each day to their students and I personally appreciate what they've done for my child.
