Excellent School! My two children attended 6-8th and have only great things to say. All staff and teacher care about their students.

This school is very nice overall. Although it's classrooms are not in buildings― but portables― they maintain a clean and sanitary environment consistently. The teachers are great, especially the history teachers; the material that they teach is very easily understandable. The only exception would be iPrep; if you're a procrastinator like me, I would not recommend iPrep classes. The type of students vary, but many get good grades and aren't trouble. There is somewhat of a big amount of troublemakers, but only a small portion of these are very incompetent. Overall, the staff and services in this school are really good. This is a school I recommend, I am enjoying my time in this school greatly.

Went to this school 2 years ago so don't know if it's changed much but it was pretty good. One thing I'll tell you is that no one cares about the IB certificate after Ammons. It does not make you more favorable to any high-school. Teachers I had were quite good. Out of all the options this one's the best. Also if you go here don't act tough remember you go here.

If you want your kids to go to what is in my humble opinion the best possible middle school then, look no further. If your child is lucky enough to get into this school then make whatever sacrifice needed but get them here. Just be aware that as a parent you must be involved and aware of all the requirements to graduate especially if you want the I.B. Certificate. Which I highly recommend your child strive for. Currently they have a great principal and program. The school is very safe as most children here are all serious students and trouble makers or children with poor grades are relegated to their home school. Going to Ammons is a privilege so act accordingly. Good Luck.

The moment I got to know about Maestro Goslin’s concert, I was all set to attend it and treat myself with a magical experience. I grew up listening to his radio and television appearances and seeing him in person was a lifetime opportunity. His fingers play piano in such a magical way. Looking forward to listen to him again.
