UPAHS offers students an opportunity to engage in a rigorous curriculum with small class sizes and a strong sense of community. The administration is also very involved in facilitating student success. UPA is definitely a safe and productive place to learn.

This uniquely wonderful school afforded my son opportunities that he may not have had in a local public school. The college and career readiness department, with their one on one college counseling, made sure he was financially able to attend MSU. The staff is efficient, friendly and competent to make sure each student reaches their full potential.

UPA High School is a great school that continues to strive for excellence. Over the last couple of years, UPA High has aggressively pushed a progressive education for its students that will prepare them for not only college but for being a productive, contributing citizen at the local, state and national level. Through programming, that promotes community, tolerance, and a rigorous education there is no better school for any student in Detroit to attend!
