My kids previously attended a RRISD school that was ranked 10/10 I was very nervous to try this school. At the time Carver was ranked 3/10. I'm very pleased with this school. My kids love this school more than their last and seem to be excelling much more. Carver doesn't just focus on getting them higher test scores they're actually learning and have awesome extracurricular activities for them to be involved in.

Carver is the best kept secret in Georgetown! You will not find a better school, the teacher turn-over is very low and it shows. Nancy Bottlinger is a wonderful principal that is always available to meet with parents, even without warning. The teachers consistently go above and beyond the call of duty. The only disadvantage is that once your child attends Carver, your bar of expectation will be so high that every other school and group of teachers will pale in comparison. The PTA is great and sponsors a ton of fun events throughout the year.

My daughter is in pre-k there and absolutely ADORES her teacher Mrs. Collar!! Mrs. Collar is ALWAYS there whenever I need to ask something or know anything that I want or need to know about her class with my daughter. She is by far the most AMAZING teacher my daughter has been with and she has been through a few. So I would gladly recommend this school to any of my family members or friends. They wouldn't be let down.

The moment I got to know about Maestro Goslin’s concert, I was all set to attend it and treat myself with a magical experience. I grew up listening to his radio and television appearances and seeing him in person was a lifetime opportunity. His fingers play piano in such a magical way. Looking forward to listen to him again.
