Day Violins

Amazing work. I brought in my viola bow that was accidentally snapped in half, expecting it to be irreparably damaged. To my absolute delight, they were able to repair it and get it to a condition where it’s near impossible to tell that it was broken at all. Before the repair they were very upfront about how the bow might turn out, both good and bad. I really appreciate their helpful customer service and the amazing work that they did. I bought my viola from them and I love my instrument. Would 100% recommend them for buying and repairing stringed instruments.

Jenna Day, along with the rest of her amazing staff, was incredible in teaching and guiding my grandson (and me) in the process of selecting which instrument to pursue. Everyone was so kind, caring, patient, and professional. I look forward to my grandson starting lessons soon! What a wonderful first experience!!!

I called in today with questions about getting a violin for another one of my children. All my questions were answered so well m. Friendly and helpful staff. Brought my moms "old" violin in looking for some kind of answers. It's been sitting in the back of my closet for 5 years. Clearly he knows his stuff. What really impressed me he said , if you have a few minutes I could clean it up for you. He cleaned it up, added a strings and more! I decided to leave it with him. He partners with a charity!!!!!! No business is error free, so when those errors occur the treatment of the customer reveals the character of the people running the business. Day Violins made one such error when dealing with my teen musician. Their response was to be honest about what happened, complete the work anyway, and come to a more than amicable payment arrangement. They did this without my complaint or pressure. I was, honestly, surprised when I went to pick up the item we had left for repair and found the work done - and done well. Day Violins is an hour drive for me and there are much closer music shops. I'll skip past them all to work with a business like this. We've been in the NOVA music scene for several years now and they came highly recommended. Now I know why.
