Capt. Johnston Blakely Elementary School

I attended Blakely Elementary School for all 5 years, and Ms. Keller was my kindergarten teacher. She is still one of my favorite teachers to this day and has made a positive impact on me and I’m sure other students as well. (Including my little sister). Blakely is such a great school and I’m so grateful to have had such a wonderful experience there.

My son Jordan Page has been part of SEC for 3 years now. We love that one on ones pay direct attention not on cell phones, in uniform, interact and truly care about the children! Staff is even better! Mrs. Brown truly listen, goes above and beyond. My son has gone to several non public but when a coworker told me about getting him to SEC I called SUSD and said I wanted a transfer immediately. This was the best decision ever! This site does it for our children and it’s not about money. They work with our kids and want our children to succeed. Our 2 week there we attended a promotion/graduation event I cried which I have never felt a connection at any of the other non public school. We could see how much love, support and dedication they had for each individual. I am so glad I finally found a school site that loves our special children. Mr. Brown I am glad your vision has been a success and JD your amazing too! One last comment Jordan review was an accident he meant 5 stars! Again SEC we are glad to be apart of your school and you have us for 6 more years. I could write a book if I had more time!

We visited Sunshine Montessori school just recently. The place is clean and well organized. Ms Asha really takes pride in her home based pre-school. She took the time to explain to us about her school and the types of Montessori activities planned daily for the kids. Her meal plan also looks great and really hearty and healthy. Best of all, she really does care about your child. She worked at the daycare where my daughter used to attend so I know first hand that she is truly an amazing person, who really enjoys working with kids. I would really recommend this home based daycare especially given its small size, that means your child will be exposed to less kids compared to if they were at a regular daycare.

The moment I got to know about Maestro Goslin’s concert, I was all set to attend it and treat myself with a magical experience. I grew up listening to his radio and television appearances and seeing him in person was a lifetime opportunity. His fingers play piano in such a magical way. Looking forward to listen to him again.
