I was new to the cello when I started taking lessons from Carter at Cello Voce Music two years ago, and she has made my first couple of years an absolute joy! Carter is highly accomplished and gifted as a cellist, so I have always felt that I am getting the very best instruction. Additionally, she has a natural talent for teaching and I find myself highly motivated by her approach. Another great benefit of lessons at Cello Voce is that there are many opportunities to play with other cellists in a quartet or a larger ensemble - the OC Cello Choir. I have studied other musical instruments for many years, but no teacher has come close to providing the level of enjoyment and progress that I have experienced with Cello Voce Music. Highly recommended to students of all ages!

I started cello late in this life because I always loved the beautiful sound that a simple and lovely shaped piece of wood can produce by skillfully trained hands. It is the language of a higher being being spoken at an energy level 432- 440 Hz. This sound has always fascinated me as a lifelong student of comparative religions; from the Tao to the writings of Saint Augustine! Learning to play the cello requires focus and attention and dedicated time. I am very fortunate to have come across Carter Dewberry in my quest to make the cello speak to me. Her positive methods of teaching coupled with the placement of myself in the cello choir have opened up an entire dimension beyond the relative world that I once thought I knew.

The moment I got to know about Maestro Goslin’s concert, I was all set to attend it and treat myself with a magical experience. I grew up listening to his radio and television appearances and seeing him in person was a lifetime opportunity. His fingers play piano in such a magical way. Looking forward to listen to him again.
